Zaarly.com – The New Local Market

Technology Tuesday

So you are looking for an obscure sculpture or a 100-year old book for your collection, and cannot find it on standard buy and sell websites. Venture capitalist, Bo Fishback says that h is a “proximity-based, real-time, buyer-powered market”. With support from big names like Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, Zaarly.com acts as an exclusive marketplace that combines eBay, CraigsList, and FourSquare in one network.

Instead of spending hours looking through the internet for an item to be found locally, you can get immediate and real-time coverage for what you request. Zaarly acts as the center where buyers and sellers seek a price and what ever is the best offer, it is taken and exchanged.

The buyer types in their location, how much time they need, price they are willing to purchase the item, and the description. Zaarly then connects providers of the goods and services locally using the website and mobile application.

Then, the website connects them directly through the phone where they can decide their transaction details. This marketplace seems to be like an open garage sale but contains items that can be found directly by the consumers. Visit  Zaarly.com or download the app to discover local conveniences around you!
