What are the experts predicting for mortgage rates in 2012? We were curious, so we set out to speak to as many as we could.

We surveys dozens of economists, financial wizards and leading scholars. Our questions included issues such as the global banking system, pulling out of Iraq, the election year and consumer confidence. After hours of conversations and research, this is what we got:

 

 

After a volatile year, interest rates finished off at their lowest point and will

After a year of economic uncertainty, the markets are stronger and interest rates will go up. They will definitely go up!!

 

 

 Based on the past performance and the dim outlook for next year, they will surely go down.
