Could this be the first feel good week we had in a long time? Almost uneventful and certainly non-stomach-churning!  We can almost whistle on our way home tonight and wow…. have a nice Friday evening! I cannot report anything bad, terrible or even big in the mortgage industry this week. No big interest rate changes or pull backs on mortgage programs. The only thing bad I can think of coming across is that a few Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI) companies said they won’t do condos anymore. That is light stuff compared to previous weeks.  Ah, so nice to say:

 

·        The stock market ended with the best week since November

 

·        Mortgage Rates are flat

 

·        Mortgage Modifications are …..flat

 

·        Madoff is out of the penthouse

 

·        Stem cell research is back

 

·        Obama can finally relax….or will he?

 

We spent the week studying LinkedIn and FaceBook. When The New Rules for Mortgages comes out in September, we want to be ready. In the new media, ready means lots of friends and exposure in the blogosphere. So, we are putting ourselves out there in the universe in order to become part of the universe. Are you with us?
