Technology Tuesday
For any new buyers looking to buy a new home for cheap then Auction.com is perfect for you. This website displays lists of recently foreclosed households, which can be bought for inexpensive prices. Auction.com has unique relationships with a large amount of financial institutions, giving you the best options possible on foreclosed homes. Thankfully the website is a global business, meaning that any user viewing the website, no matter where they are located will have an equal chance of finding a home.
Buyers and investors will feel right at home with Auction.com. They will have the opportunity to look at foreclosure listings to either make a sale or buy a new home. The auctions held range from large ballroom auctions to small on-site auctions, which suits anybody’s needs and wants. If you are a user trying to buy a home somewhere far away from your current location then you will have the option for online auctions as well. Auction.com has its very own bidding system that takes place in real-time, which has gained a lot of recognition because the website has been doing this since 1999.
Auction.com claims that they are not in this for money, and that most of their listings are to turn the houses into new homes. This does seem to be the case because I have personally seen nothing but extremely low prices on housing from this site. There are a few different types of auctions that Auction.com holds and here they are: Builder & New Construction, Commercial, Note & Loan, and Land auctions. Now let me describe each of these so you can get a better understanding.
Builder & New Construction Auctions – These auctions are held for buyers whom are looking for newly constructed houses, large condominiums, and basically anything that is brand new. Auction.com works with the builders and lenders to give users the best offer for the new housing.
Commercial Auction – Commercial auctioning is done using Auction.com’s bidding system. You will visit this if you want to bid online for homes instead visiting a local auction.
Note & Loan Auctions – Basically this is the same thing as Commercial Auctions, but you are able to go into Performing, Sub-Performing, and Non-Performing Note & Loan Auctions.
Land Auctions – Auction.com is an excellent place to find land for sale. The website claims that it has become the largest auctioneer of land, which I think may be correct because finding land auctions is pretty rare today. They sell land that would suit a builder for a new house, or first time buyers who may want to build a new house on the land.
I would have to say that the websites layout and design very simple and has a great ease of access for first time users. There are a ton of options when it comes to Auction.com and they are suited for any home buyer, investor, or real estate. If you or someone you know is looking for a new house, or even a builder, then make sure to give Auction.com a look and see if you can find a house or land for a cheap price.
