This week has been bleak and shiny and I am glad it is over.Â
Â
There are those that thought the election would bring renewed hope and an end to bad news and hardship. There are others that feel the election will thunder more rainstorms on our economy. We will have both.
Â
Unemployment numbers have risen to the highest levels in fourteen years, but the numbers are probably higher than we think. Interest rates have gone down along with gas prices and the stock market (again).
Banks continue to tighten their lending guidelines as well as hoard assets.Â
Â
Yes, things will loosen up and change over time, but time is what we need. If it took eight years to go down the crapper, we should allow one maybe two years to float back up to the time.
Â
Patience is the word, “my friendsâ€, patience.
