Mortgage rates are flat today. Still hovering a bit below 6% for a 30 year fixed conforming loan amount. The conforming loan amount for a single family house is still $417,000 until further notice. They might dip down later in the week, depending on further economic data. I paid $2.77 for a gallon of gas (NJ) yesterday and stamps are going up a penny for first class in May. I still do not see a refi boom, only notices of reductions in PMI coverage and declining market values across the country.  Oh what is our new President to do! –      Dale Siegel
