: Go See Elephant Girls at The Emerging Artists Theatre

This is my first plug in my Blog, but I feel the need.I am on the board of an Off-Broadway Theater ompany called Emerging Artists Theatre, masterfully run by Paul Adams. Paul has been a tireless force behind the Company for over thirteen years of artistic enhancement and company progress. This month, they present the Triple Threat, three full length plays written by emerging artists and directed and produced by the company members.

Last Thursday, I saw Elephant Girls. A beautifully written story by CARL GONZALEZ, about a group of women learning to think beyond their own prejudices. Directed by Derek Jamison, and wonderfully performed by SARA AZIZ, AMY BIZJAK, GLORY GALLO, LUÉ MCWILLIAMS, VIVIAN MEISNER and GAMEELA WRIGHT. The play runs about two riveting hours where you laugh and cry with the beautiful actresses on stage. Go see it before March 3rd. This is Broadway bound for sure.
